Description Included are recipes for colours and glazes, lists of stock, prices of colours, etc., accounts, medical recipes and personal memoranda. The volume was used by an earlier owner, chiefly for recipes for colours and glazes: for a dated entry in this hand, 23 Feb. 1809, see f. 64. The earliest dated entry, 3 Oct. 1808, is in a third hand, f. 74. Locker's hand is identified by an initialled copy letter on ff. 68v-69. The earliest and latest dated entries in Locker's hand are 23 Aug. 1843 (f. 13) and 7 Jan. 1851 (f. 62). Table of contents and contemporary pagination and foliation by Locker.
