Description Part of a series of annual statements of furs imported into England. The records contain lists of shipments noting the origin and quantity of each type of fur or other product imported. From 1801, the dates of forthcoming auctions are also given. The lists, originally entitled "Cargoes of the Hudson's Bay Company's Ships" and later "Importations of the Hudson's Bay Company," were prepared by the Hudson's Bay Company's fur brokers. Some of the lists have annotations giving yearly comparisons. Records are arranged chronologically.
