Description | Illustrated log book compiled by Nicholas Pocock of four voyages between Bristol and Dominica via Madeira, the Canaries and the Caribbean Islands, with a decorated chart of the ship's tracks, views of Prince Rupert's Bay and the town of Roseau, Montserrat, and panoramas of the coastline along the Isle of Wight, from Beachey Head to Shoreham, and from Newhaven to the Seven Cliffs, with ten further small views of Palma, Porto Santo, Antigua, Guadeloupe and Montserrat from the sea, 146 monochrome drawings of the ship at sea and a watercolour of a dolphin. |
