Letters include details of the safe arrival of ships, whaling, decrease in trade, indigenous peoples trading with the 'pedlers', request for bricks, provisions, hunting seasons, ships sailing for England, a request for stockings, indigenous peoples who are able to shoot partridges and war between indigenous peoples.
