Description Included are three separate documents related to the sugar industry. The first, The Sugar Supply of the Empire, Its Production and Distribution provides a brief history of the sugar industry as well as detailed statistics from the late 19th Century until its publication in 1917. The second, written in Spanish, is titled: Programme for Cuban Sugar Entrance into the United Kingdom. The third document is a paper written by George Martineau titled Sugar from Several Points of View. It provides a brief sketch of the early history of cane sugar before the author recounts his own experiences between 1856 and 1918.
