Additional Information This plate was onboard the Geldermalsen, a Dutch East India Trading ship that struck a reef and sank in the Lingga Archipelago, Indonesia in 1752. The ship was carrying around 150,000 porcelain plates, 687,000 pounds of tea and 147 gold ingots from Canton.
